SUMMARY:Visual Arts Capstone Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The Capstone Exhibition showcases the culminating projects of Visual Arts students as they complete their final semester. Each student works under the mentorship of a Visual Arts professor to develop a cohesive body of work in their chosen medium. The process begins with writing an artist statement that defines their creative goals and direction. Over the course of the semester\, students meet regularly with their mentors for feedback and guidance\, while independently shaping their projects. The result is a professional exhibition that highlights each artist’s individual vision\, voice\, and growth. \nThe opening reception is Friday\, December 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the Bistro. \nThe exhibit will be on display in the Bistro December 1-6. \nThe exhibit will be on display in the Library December 12-31.
