NHTI Receives Successful Compliance Review of Veterans Educational Benefit Program
CONCORD, N.H. – Recently, NHTI―Concord’s Community College underwent an extensive compliance audit which reviewed the administration of military educational benefits to qualifying students from Spring 2015 through Spring 2019. NHTI served between 160-230 qualifying students per semester. Out of those between 91-147 were using Veterans educational benefits. The audit revealed no compliance issues.
NHTI has made a commitment to help Veterans and active duty military personnel succeed in their academic endeavors, and help these students travel through the college application process and the military educational benefit enrollment process. Elizabeth Pontacoloni, NHTI’s Certifying Official says she considers it a pleasure working with this population of students. “These students are motivated and eager to take advantage of what we offer here. Making the transition to college is sometimes difficult. I enjoy making it easier.”
