Leadership Opportunities

Our Student Leadership Program goal is to provide leadership development opportunities to learn valuable life skills. These opportunities build leadership skills through workshops, seminars, and structured retreats.

We recognize that there are many different types of leaders in different roles on campus. This program is open to all NHTI students; participation in portions of the program may have a GPA requirement.

If you are interested in the program or would like more information, please contact the Office of Student Life at NHTIstudentlife@ccsnh.edu.

Additional Opportunities

Throughout the academic year, the Student Leadership Program offers multiple lecture and/or workshops focusing on leadership skills.

Contact Deb Smith, director of Wellness and Recreation, at dsmith@ccsnh.edu or 603-271-6484 x4314 for more information.

Each year, we coordinate a retreat for current students, advisors, and members of the Student Leadership Team to gather for a day of leadership development. Typically, the day is spent at an off-campus location where students can network with one another and learn new skills while mastering existing skills. The retreat focuses on a variety of leadership skills including communication, collaboration, and teambuilding.

Contact Deb Smith, director of Wellness and Recreation, at dsmith@ccsnh.edu or 603-271-6484 x4314 for more information.

By getting involved with leadership opportunities on campus, you have the opportunity to participate in orientation, class presentations, open houses, express admissions, high school visits, college access programming, and conferences throughout the year.
