How do I access the library’s databases?
You can search through the majority of the library’s databases from the Quick Search bar on our homepage. You can also explore specific databases through our Databases and Archives page. You will be prompted to log into CCSNH’s single sign-on page before accessing library databases. To do so, simply enter your EasyLogin credentials when you see the login page.

How do I cite my sources?
Please feel encouraged to refer to the library’s Citation Guidance page for information on formatting citations in APA and MLA.

How do I get help with writing?
The Learning Commons offers a Writing Center through our Academic Center for Excellence (ACE). If you need assistance with writing, please make an appointment with our Writing Center.

How do I get help with research?
Should you need assistance with research, please explore our Getting Started with Research guide. There, you will find useful database search tips and valuable information for determining your information needs and finding relevant resources. The library is also pleased to offer one-on-one research consultations. Click here to schedule a consultation.

How do I get help logging in, resetting my password, or with technology?
Should you need assistance with your EasyLogin, or any other technical assistance, please contact NHTI’s Information Technology Services, or click here to submit a service request with them.

Can I print/scan documents at the library?
Yes! The library offers wired and wireless printing, and a scan-to-email service.
To print from a library desktop, pull up the document you would like to print and hit CTRL+P on the keyboard. You should be prompted to enter your EasyLogin credentials and confirm your print job. Once this is done, your document should begin printing. 
To print wirelessly from your own device, please go to this website and follow these instructions. Should you need assistance with printing and scanning, please feel encouraged to ask any library staff person for help.

The Learning Commons Library, housed in the Learning Commons building, accommodates different learning styles through a variety of study spaces, including bookable study rooms, a state-of-the-art instructional lab outfitted with hyflex technology, abundant natural lighting, soft seating, standing desks, data ports, scanning capabilities, and wireless printing. The Learning Commons Library provides community members an inclusive, comfortable, and dynamic environment for research and study.

As an academic teaching library staffed by knowledgeable information professionals, the NHTI Learning Commons Library offers the services and collections of a traditional library while embracing forward-thinking technology and collection development practices. The library offers complete research services to NHTI’s learning community, including reference and instructional services and on-site and remote access to dozens of databases.

The Learning Commons Library boasts a robust collection of 50,000+ print books, 600,000+ ebooks, numerous print and electronic journals, digital magazines, film and audio collections, and a streaming video database.

The Learning Commons Library’s comprehensive services, in support of the college’s initiatives on information literacy and the educated person, include online integrated searching of dozens of carefully selected databases, information literacy instruction and resources, social awareness toolkits, and collaboration with many other academic, public, and special library networks.

The Learning Commons Library is also the designated home library for the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and Structural Engineers of New Hampshire. The library’s archives contain records, documents, photographs, and other ephemera of NHTI’s history. The library is also the host venue for NHTI’s Wings of Knowledge lecture series, as well as other campus events and exhibits.
