22nd Annual NHTI / NEDD 5K Road Race

🏃‍♂️ Get Ready, Concord! Race #2 of the Capital Area Race Series is coming to NHTI! 🏃‍♀️

We’re thrilled to host the NHTI/Delta Dental 5K Road Race on Friday, April 17, 2026—a community favorite and one of the most energetic nights on campus! Registration opens at 4:30pm, our always-adorable Kids Fun Run takes off at 5:45pm, and the main event kicks off at 6:00pm sharp.

Last year we welcomed 300+ runners, families, fans, and community partners for an evening full of excitement—and we’re ready to make this year even bigger. 🥳 Expect the return of Leroy the Lynx, an awesome BBQ, music, donuts, awards, and the kind of loud and proud cheering section that makes CARS events so special. Whether you’re racing, walking, volunteering, or just enjoying the vibe, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss.
