National Radiologic Technology Week Celebration

November 2 - November 8

Happy National Radiologic Technology Week!

This year, from November 2–8, we are celebrating National Radiologic Technology Week® (NRTW) and honoring the vital work of our medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. This annual event commemorates Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen’s discovery of the X-ray on November 8, 1895, a groundbreaking moment that changed medicine forever.

This year’s theme, “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology,” beautifully captures the diverse range of specialties and procedures that these experts perform every day. From X-rays and CT scans to MRIs and mammograms, our talented rad techs are crucial to providing accurate diagnoses, guiding treatments, and ensuring patient safety.

Come by MacRury Hall on Tuesday or Wednesday for breakfast goodies, or come meet current first-year students in the Student Center on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30-11. Learn about the program and profession and win prizes.

We will be hiding paper skeleton pieces throughout campus. Find a bone and bring it to M112 for a prize!!
