New On-Campus Dining Partner Announced
CONCORD, NH – Campus dining at NHTI – Concord’s Community College has a new flavor: Aladdin Campus Dining is the new dining services management company, taking over operations at NHTI’s on-campus facilities including its Capitol Commons dining hall and Bistro. Capital Commons will also receive a refresh, including digital menus that will provide allergen and nutritional information.
“We are excited to announce this new partnership,” says Marsha Bourdon, business operations officer at NHTI. “Aladdin has a stellar reputation for consistently delivering on food quality and service. They believe campus dining starts with the student, and they put students at the center of their programmatic initiatives.”
Aladdin Campus Dining, under the direction of food service director Stan Corneau, will offer students a wide selection of made-to-order nutritious menu items in the Capital Commons Dining Hall. Signature brands include Jump Start breakfast items, Classic Kitchen homestyle favorites, Sauce & Stone fresh pasta, Flame, Sweet Shop, and Global Fare, where students will enjoy culturally-inspired favorites.
Reflecting a growing trend in food concepts, Aladdin’s WeBurg is a modern throwback to the American roadside grill and will be offered in the Bistro, located in Sweeney Hall. WeBurg features burgers or cheeseburgers including the all-American, jalapeno BBQ, steakhouse burger, and the grilled or crispy chicken sandwich – prepared with fresh ground beef or chicken on a brioche bun. Students can also build their own burgers from premium toppings and sauces and sides including crinkle cut and sweet potato fries. Milkshakes will feature local favorite Hood ice cream.
According to the company, Aladdin’s signature brands are reflective of today’s campus dining eating trends where healthier eating and vegan lifestyles are at the forefront. Through Aladdin’s BeWell wellness interactive program, the healthy choice becomes the easy choice. Gluten-free and vegan options – including a soup and salad bar with fresh greens and plant-based foods and recipes inspired by locally grown produce – will be available.
Plans for a self-operated micro-mart will also accommodate diners on the go with Aladdin’s Tryon Market grab-and-go meals along with healthcare, sundries, and other convenience items.
