NHTI Invites Public to Campus Reads Events

Fall Book Club Selection: ‘The Seed Keeper’

CONCORD, NH — NHTI – Concord’s Community College invites the public to attend the Campus Reads events related to this Fall’s selection, ‘The Seed Keeper’ by Diane Wilson. This haunting novel follows a Dakota family’s struggle to preserve their culture and sacrifice to protect what matters most. All events are free and open to the public. The author reading will be held virtually, and the film series and the book discussion will be held in person on campus.

Author Reading

Film Series
Screened in Sweeney Hall Auditorium, the film ‘Gather’ documents the growing movement among Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual, political, and cultural identities through food sovereignty while battling the trauma of genocide. Screenings: Tues., Nov. 2 at 12 p.m. and Fri. Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. This is an in-person event and masks are required.

Book Discussion
Held in the NHTI Library Living Room, the book discussion will take place on Tues., Nov. 30 at 12–2 p.m. This is an in-person event and masks are required.
