Current Availability

NHTI offers individual short-term counseling and prevention services to all currently enrolled NHTI students. Cancellations should be made as early as possible so that the vacated time may be made available to another person. Mental Health Emergencies:

  • If you are experiencing an immediate mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
  • If you are seeking support for mental health and need someone to talk with?  Call, text, or chat NH Rapid Response Access Point 1-833-710-6477 24/7
  • Call, text or chat 988 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for additional support if you are experiencing mental health concerns. 

Spring Semester Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday 8 -5 in office and remote.
  • Friday 8-1 by appointment.

Confidentiality is maintained in keeping with ethical and legal standards. Visits and conversations do not become part of any other NHTI record. Students are encouraged to discuss any concerns about confidentiality with the counselor.
